Antares Audio Technologies has introduced AutoTune Advanced, a new real-time vocal tuning software that promises precise pitch correction while preserving the natural vibrato and character of a singer’s voice. This latest release features an overhauled pitch-correction algorithm and a patent-pending DVA engine that specifically aims to maintain vocal expression even at varying levels of tuning intensity.
One of the standout features of AutoTune Advanced is its ability to cater to different recording and production needs with its new modes: Live, Low Latency, and High Quality. The Live mode is tailored for real-time monitoring, offering speed and responsiveness, while the other modes provide more flexibility for tracking and mixing processes.
In addition to preserving natural vocal qualities, the software also provides creative options with its Creative Vibrato FX, which lets users add controlled vibrato effects. A real-time vibrato visualizer accompanies this feature, offering visual feedback for adjustments. Other enhancements include an updated Formant Designer, a custom scale workflow, and a 78-note Visual Keyboard, along with MIDI Perform for hands-on control over tuning and vibrato settings.
AutoTune Advanced retains well-known controls like Flex Tune and Humanize, and offers both Classic and Modern modes to accommodate different vocal-production styles. The software also includes a collection of presets developed in collaboration with professional producers and artists, enhancing its versatility.
Available since September 24, AutoTune Advanced is accessible as a perpetual license or through the AutoTune Unlimited subscription, with current subscribers receiving it as part of their existing package. This launch marks a significant advancement in vocal tuning technology, emphasizing both precision and artistry in music production.
